Phillips Painting was established in 1993 by my father. A second generation painter that had moved to Jackson Hole in the 80’s, and then to Victor in the early 90’s. After graduating from the University of Utah in 1994 I came to the valley for the sole purpose of helping him for the summer. Needless to say, I met my wife Jennifer that summer. Jenny was born and raised in Victor. We lived in Salt Lake for about 8 months before realizing that the valley is where we wanted to be.
We moved back and my dad and I became partners. He retired in 2000 and Jenny and I have been running the business ever since. Three kids and twenty-two years later we are still here and are thankful that we have been so fortunate to raise a family and live in this beautiful area.
Phillips Painting is a small company. We have anywhere from one to six employees depending on the time of year. We find by keeping things relatively small and manageable we can keep our quality up, and our customers happy. I like to try and be on the job as much as possible. But when I find that I can’t we have great employees that are always willing to go above and beyond to make sure that the job gets done right. Your home is important. Whether it’s painting inside, for aesthetics. Or, outside for maintenance, I understand that it is an investment and that you want the job done right.
